Brain-computer interface technology company Neurable closed a $35 million Series A round of funding led by Spectrum Moonshot Fund, bringing the company's total raise to $65 million.

WHAT IT DOES

The Boston-based company's Neurable AI offering uses brain-signal processing technology to integrate brain-computer interface capabilities into devices people use daily.

Neurable also offers the MW75 Neuro LT, powered by Neurable AI, with an accompanying app that provides cognitive insights into mental fatigue, cognitive recovery and focus-state detection.

The funds will be used to speed up the commercialization of Neurable AI and expand into broader cognitive health sectors, including gaming and e-sports to help with concentration, reaction time and cognitive endurance.

"Our mission is to make understanding your brain as natural and intuitive as checking your steps," Ramses Alcaide, CEO and cofounder of Neurable, said in a statement.

"With the MW75 Neuro LT and the redesigned Neurable app, people can finally see how their mind performs throughout the day. This funding allows us to scale Neurable AI into new devices and new industries, making cognitive health an accessible, daily utility for everyone."

MARKET SNAPSHOT

In October, Neurable partnered with iMotions, a software platform for human behavior research. Neurable's offering was integrated into iMotions' platform to allow researchers to obtain, measure and analyze brain activity in real-world environments.

That same month, MeSpace, a company that designs and manufactures workstations aimed at improving productivity, named Neurable as its official research partner to study how workforce design affects cognitive performance.

Last year, Neurable secured $13 million in funding from Ultratech Capital Partners, TRAC, Pace Ventures and Metaplanet.

Neurable also partnered with Canadian precision health company Healthspan Digital in 2024, a membership-based platform that works with individuals and enterprise clients.

Through the partnership, Healthspan introduced Neurable's technology into health and longevity clinics globally, beginning in Dubai, with the goal of helping providers assess individuals' brain health and cognitive performance.
