Oncology-focused home care platform Reimagine Care announced a partnership with Tampa General Hospital Cancer Institute to integrate its AI-powered virtual cancer care platform into Tampa General's care pathways.

Reimagine Care offers a virtual cancer care platform that includes proactive symptom management, at-home supportive care, 24/7 AI-enabled cancer-specific intelligence with symptom assessment and clinical integration.

The aim of the partnership is to decrease workforce strain, reduce avoidable hospitalizations and ED visits, and ease documentation and triage.

Tampa General’s venture arm, TGH Ventures, also invested in the company.

"This collaboration lets us reimagine cancer care without all of the constraints of time, place or capacity. By pairing Tampa General’s clinical leadership with our AI-enabled, always-connected care platform, we’re creating an environment where patients are continuously supported and clinicians can act on emerging needs the moment they arise," Dan Nardi, CEO of Reimagine Care, told MobiHealthNews.

"It’s a future where insights flow in real time, care reaches into the home as naturally as it does the clinic, and every individual feels guided through their journey with greater confidence and fewer crises. That’s the standard we’re working to make possible at scale."

THE LARGER TREND

Reimagine Care has established numerous partnerships over the last several years.

In April, Reimagine Care announced a partnership with MedStar Health to integrate its oncology care platform into the health system's cancer care delivery model and assist patients with the transition from in-clinic care to the home.

Last year, the cancer care company extended its partnership with Houston-based Memorial Hermann Health System beyond its flagship hospital, Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, to offer oncology patients digital, virtual and in-home care.

A year before, Reimagine partnered with Denver-based in-home care provider DispatchHealth to provide oncology patients with access to virtual-to-home care and coordinated care between Reimagine Care, DispatchHealth and the patient's primary oncology care team.
